DUE TO COVID-19
Rhythm Dance Center is following all government regulated health and safety protocols for our summer programs.
- All staff members will be temperature checked upon arrival to the studio.
- Drop off: Dancers will be welcomed by an RDC staff member.
- No parents/family of dancers ages 5 and up are to enter the facility to observe classes. Dancers age 3 and 4 are able to have 1 parent/guardian accompany them into the studio.
- Masks must be worn when entering, going between studios, and when using the bathroom. Dancers may remove their masks when in the studio room.
- Dancers must come dressed for class and with minimal belongings. Personal items will be brought into the studio rooms. The change rooms will be off limits.
- Breaks will be scheduled between classes to ensure staggered arrival and departure times. This also allows time for cleaning of high touch areas between classes.
- Studio floors are taped to enforce proper distancing and floor markers throughout common areas are placed for flow and distancing.
- No partnering work will be conducted in classes.
- Dance rooms, common areas, bathrooms and door handles will be cleaned frequently.
- A full cleaning and disinfecting of the studio will be conducted at the end of each night.
- Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry into the facility, as well as in each studio and throughout common areas.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our dance family safe!

Recital & Costume Policies
Recital & Costume Policies
Each student has the option to participate in a recital dance per class they participate in (with the exception of technique and pointe classes). The costume and song for the recital routine will be selected by the instructor.
Costume costs are in addition to class fees. Costume fees are due in November/December.
Parents are required to purchase tickets for the year end show which are in addition to class fees.
Recital costumes are paid for in advance and once ordered cannot be cancelled or returned. Recital costumes are not custom made, they are sized to fit the average person of that size. For young children still growing we typically leave 1"-2" for "growing room".
Many costumes arrive with some alterations or attachments needed. It is the parent's responsibility to ensure these alterations or attachments are completed prior to picture day.
