Claudia Einarson

2025 Summer Intensive Guest

Claudia Einarson is a 20-year-old dancer originally from Kingston, Ontario. Growing up, she discovered her love for dance at Rhythm Dance Center by competing and teaching in a variety of styles including ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hiphop, tap, and musical theatre. She attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Summer Intensive in July 2023, where she was accepted into the professional division. Upon graduating from the school in June 2025, she plans to return to continue her training in the Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program.

Throughout many years, Claudia attended the Quinte Ballet School of Canada summer intensive, the InStudio National Ballet of Canada summer intensive, The School of Cadence Ballet summer intensive, and was an assistant to Mr. Brian Foley with the ADAPT TTS Program.

Over the past two years at RWB, Claudia has been fortunate to perform a wide variety of classical roles. These include corps de ballet in Études, Swan Lake Pas de Trois Third Variation, Raymonda Entrance Variation, Romanesca Pas de Quatre from Raymonda, Pas de Châle Variation from Raymonda, Second Valse Fantastique Variation from Raymonda, Paquita Pas de Trois, Paquita Pas de Trois First Variation, Third Shade Variation from La Bayadère, Gamzatti Variation from LaBayadère, Sylphide Soloist in LaSylphide, Maid of Honour from La Sylphide and the role of Effie in La Sylphide. Along with these, Claudia had the opportunity to perform contemporary works choreographed by Gabriela Rehak, dancers of the school and company, and herself.

Claudia has been the recipient of the RWB Alumni Scholarship, and when she participated in the annual in-house student choreography competition, she was awarded the RWB School Award and First Place two years in a row. Her choreography has been showcased in professional division contemporary repertoire, as well as being performed at the Encuentrode Escuelas de Danza in Mexico this past January.

With a burning passion for dance, Claudia is looking forward to returning to teach at Rhythm Dance Center this summer, and continuing to improve and develop as an artist, teacher, and choreographer.
